2010

The young mobilizes

The group Green Teens is founded in Blekinge and the idea to ​​ organize a sustainable music festival begins to take shape. Louise Lindén starts planning the festival as a high school project.

2011

LiveGreen Festival is founded

Our first festival takes place in Wämöparken in Karlskrona – with music, green market, organic catering and a team of young entrepreneurs and activists at the front.

2013

The festival is growing

L

We moved to Hoglands Park, central Karlskrona! The festival grows from being a one day event to two days, from approx. 1000 visitors to tenfold. Miriam Bryant, Rebecca & Fiona, Stefan Sundström and Little Jinder are some of the artists who will perform on the LiveGreen stage over the years.

2015

We gather our knowledge in a guide for sustainable events

“Stageplots, Setlists & Saving the World” – a guide for organizers who want to minimize their carbon footprint and maximize their positive impact is launched. The book has been used by more than 2,000 leaders, event planners and artists since then.

2017

LiveGreen Academy is launched

L

With support from Postkodstiftelsen, we are launching an initiative to make the festival and experience industry more sustainable. We support several well-known events, including Sweden Rock, Statement Festival and Brännbollsyran.

Hi, Kristianstad!
Bye, Karlskrona!

LiveGreen Festival was hosted by young organizers and ‘Kulturkvarteret’ in Kristianstad.

During the same year, the festival in Karlskrona was canceled – in protest to unsustainable and unequal rights in the municipality.

2020

Digital academy and VR festival

L

Innovation is born from crisis! The corona pandemic forced us to rethink, find new ways to create experiences and help the industry in both crisis management and sustainable transition. Among other things, we started to develop the VR platform Festivalplaneten.

2021

We organize Sweden’s largest climate concert to date – Climate Live

L

Alongside climate activists from Fridays For Future and some of the country’s lead artists, we set the tone for climate justice via a huge live concert in Kungsträdgården. Greta Thunberg, Lars Winnerbäck, First Aid Kit and Victor Leksell are some of those participating.

Burning Man, Sweden Rock, Roskilde Festival, Live Nation, Greenpeace and Make Equal are some of the 45 guests who share advice, examples, insights and predictions on the industry’s future.

Louise Lindén is awarded Kompassrosen because she’s had the courage to act when others are afraid and with great care drives her environment towards better sustainability.

Louise Lindén is awarded Hållbarhetspriset 2017 for making a difference and inspiring others to contribute to sustainable change. Louise has conquered the role of natural forerunner and inspirer by acting with force and tireless enthusiasm. As a young woman in a male-dominated industry, she has succeeded in the art of integrating environment and sustainability in the music industry through leadership.

Årets unga entreprenör 2016 (Young Entrepreneur of the Year)

The winner is driven by difficult questions and has innovatively developed several concepts to fight the biggest social problems of our time. Through an unconventional, purposeful and creative way of working, several thousand people have been trained and over a hundred jobs have been created. To work and have your base in Blekinge and at the same time create the next generation of leaders all over Sweden, is an achievement to be rewarded.
